LOLER stands for Lifting Operation and Lifting Equipment Regulations, it governs the way lifts are operated, designed and inspected in the UK. Although LOLER is not law it is used to determine how we operate lifting equipment safely in the UK and lift owners not following LOLER could be committing an offense.

You should have your lift inspected at least every six months, booking regular bi-annual inspections can help you avoid missing important inspection deadlines.
